Kairabah

Kairabah pronounced ‘care-a-bar’ is located on the southern fringe adjacent to Tamborine at the foot of the mountain. Named by the Yugembah Museum, Language & Heritage Centre, it means ‘place of the white cockatoo’. Originally part of Yarrabilba it was established to meet the continued growth of this vibrant city.
